Skydance Media is a modern content creator managing IP across a panoply of mediums including features, television, animation, and video games on a global footprint. We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager of Physical Security to lead and oversee our outsourced security teams. If you have a strong background in security management and a hands-on approach, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the safety and security of our organization.

Position Overview: As the Manager of Physical Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, assets, and personnel. This position requires a hands-on approach to security operations, along with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate outsourced security teams.

Responsibilities:

• 1.Outsourced Security Team Management:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the outsourced security teams, ensuring alignment with company policies and security protocols.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to outsourced security personnel to enhance their effectiveness.

• 2.Security Operations:
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

• 3.Incident Response and Crisis Management:
• Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, working closely with internal and external teams to mitigate risks.
• Develop and implement crisis management plans to address potential security threats.

• 4.Physical Security Measures:
• Evaluate and enhance physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance, and alarms.
• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure a secure and safe working environment.

• 5.Collaboration with Internal Departments:
• Work closely with various internal departments, such as IT, legal, and HR, to ensure a holistic approach to security.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address security-related concerns and initiatives.

• 6.Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to security protocols, incidents, and responses.
• Generate regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and trends for senior leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CPP, PSP, etc.) are a plus.
• Proven experience in security management, with a focus on overseeing outsourced security teams.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Hands-on experience in security operations and incident response.

The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $95,000 – $115,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
